A naturalistic foliage design with an ivy climbing through a framework of lozenge-shaped quarries, with a central quatrefoil leaf in potmetal yellow. Outer border of naturalist oak leaves and acorns on a blue ground. The shield is displayed against a green ground with 2 white circular bosses in the lower spandrels. Sir William Latimer (d. 1304) served in both the Welsh and Scottish campaigns of Edward I, as did his son William.
