The heavily fragmented figure stands under a simple canopy, dressed in ruby and holding a blue falcon on his right fist, feeding it with his left hand. He stands in front of a deep blue ground decorated with white bosses, intersected by an inscription strip: /DUS. It has been suggested that this is a figure of St Edmund of East Anglia, martyred in 869 by the Vikings. Outer border of oak leaves and accords on a blue ground.
