The lower half of the panel is filled with the top of the architectural canopy, with leafy crockets silhouetted against ruby glass culminating in a foliate finial. In the green spandrels are ruby discs of modern glass. The upper half of the panel continues the grisaille pattern. A fruiting vine decorates the outer borders. A panel similar to 3b below, although is a more disturbed condition. The head of the canopy is patched with unpainted modern glass.
