The man kneels on a cushion, holding up a representation of the window. His gaze appears to be fixed either on the window, or perhaps even the martyrdom of St Vincent in 5c. Below is an inscription in Lombardic letters, ‘PRIEZ/ [PU]/RVI/NCENT’ (‘Pray for Vincent’). On the diapered red background are nine instances of a motif that is not readily identifiable; there is a further instance at the foot of 3a above. To either side are white and yellow shafts standing on pale-blue bases, with capitals. Back-painting on the figure. Borders as 1a. The right hand and patches to the gown are modern.
