The Virgin sits on a green cushion on a two-tier, panelled throne. Her left hand holds a branching lily, and her right hand supports the Christ child on her right knee. He is barefoot and cross-nimbed, wearing a yellow robe decorated with a quatrefoil pattern. He blesses with his right hand and with his left appears to hold an orb. The group is set between drawn-back curtains hanging from a rail. Blue maple-leaf background (cf. 3b). Flanking the figures are red and white shafts with no bases but pink capitals. Borders as 1b.
