At the foot of the panel, beneath the cusped arch, is the continuation of the martyrdom of St Lawrence in 5a: a red star and the hand of God emerging from a yellow sleeve in the act of blessing, among pink and blue clouds. Within the niche at the top of the canopy, and beneath an oak tree, is a nimbed, kneeling female figure, her hand raised, facing the central light. She may be Mary Magdalen being greeted in the garden by the figure of the Resurrected Christ in the central light. Borders as 1a.
