The grisaille has a trellis pattern with maple leaves springing from a central stem. In the centre is a small red-bordered quatrefoil, showing on a blue ground the bust of an archbishop who holds a cross-staff in his left hand and offers benediction with his right. Yellow stain is used for the archbishop’s hair, cross-staff and ring. In the borders the upper figures are penitencers and the lower ones intended as workmen (the one on the right holds an axe).
