Against a blue foliate ground, a women dressed as a pilgrim facing the centre of the window. She holds her pilgrim’s staff in her right hand, with her scrip hanging from her shoulder across her body. A squire sits on a horse behind her; in his left hand he holds a rustic staff and in his right what may be a pilgrim’s hat; this was recorded in the late seventeenth century as having a scallop shell. The woman has received a mid-14th-century face and the squire a 15th-century one. The glass of the woman’s hands and most of the horse is modern.
