Still under the eye of the judge and watched by the crowd, the two men wrestle on the ground, their weapons discarded. Ralph tries to fend Besing off, but Besing plucks out Ralph’s left eye with his right hand. In his left hand (obscured by the bar) he holds Ralph’s right eye.
