This miracle is spread over two panels (17a and 17b). During her evening meal, according to the Life, a woman swallowed a frog which had inadvertently been mixed in with her food during cooking. Soon afterwards she fell ill. This and panel 21a are the only scenes where the same figure appears twice. On the left, she is eating her meal, and a large, purple, spotted frog can be seen in the dish on the table. On the right, she has stood up and taken off her belt to relieve her pain, and presses her hand to her chest.
