The portable reliquary has been placed on trestles in a church, with a candlestick at either end. In the foreground, a crippled man with twisted legs crawls up to it using hand supports. On the right the man, identifiable by his bald, rounded head and the same distinctive pale green knee-length garment, stands upright and offers thanks. As in panel 17a, the same figure appears twice.
