This scene combines elements from three earlier panels. The tomb is from the same cartoon as the one in panel 17b, but without the altar at the right-hand end. The man on the left is also taken from 17b, with changes of colour and detailing. The kneeling woman on the right is a revised version of the woman in 16c. The crippled man in the centre is adapted from the equivalent figure in 15b. In 15b his left hand was raised to collect holy oil running from the tomb. Here, without the oil, the gesture loses its purpose.
